Directions for Remote Support Agent Setup
Click on the picture of the correct version of Microsoft Windows. Usually it is the 64-Bit version. If you choose the wrong version, dont worry as it will not hurt anything!!
Once you click on the file, it should start downloading. Depending on the browser being used, you will get various warnings about the file. This is by design to protect you. This program allows access to your desktop and it wants to make sure that you are aware of the risks. You will need to confirm that you are aware of the risks. This program stops working as soon as you close it and all access is revoked.
After opening the file, you will get a prompt asking for admin access. Click on yes to allow the program to open.
Once the program opens, you will see a numeric code. You will need to provide this to start the remote support session.
After the support session is over, you can simply close the program window. Once the program window is closed, all remote access will no longer be available
You can always stop a remote support session simply by closing the window at any time.
